Embroidery patch or "embroidery emblem" is a
design embroidered on a piece of fabric. The embroidery patch may have a
"finished" edge. Patches then can be sewn or permanently heat pressed to an
item.Embroidered patches are a great solution to many embroidery production
issues. Many times, an embroidered patch that is heat applied to the front
of a basball hat or knit cap will look better than direct embroidery -- the
patch is sewn with no disruption from a garment seam and no need to worry
about a curving surface. Plus, the heat transfer backing means no stitches
run through to the inside of the garment!
